We believe what Christians have always believed: "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9) We believe the Bible to be the word of God: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16) Our expression of the Christian faith can be seen in the words of the Book of Common Prayer As Anglicans, our major theological document is The 39 Articles of Religion As an affiliated parish of the American Anglican Council, we agree with their document, A Place to Stand As an affiliated parish of the Anglican Communion Network, we agree with their Theological Charter "We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved." (Acts 15: 11) |
